INDEX 2016 is the Gallery 295′s fourth annual juried exhibition of emerging artists working within photography. This exhibition sets out to explore current trends and practices in contemporary photography and also to act as a platform for younger artists to have their work recognized in a professional context. INDEX 2016 exhibition was not curated on a specific theme, however the works were chosen on the basis of artistic merit and originality by this year’s distinguished jury.

INDEX 2016 Invited Jurors are Althea Thauberger (Artist & Film Maker), Meredith Preuss (Program Director, Capture Photography Festival), and Shaun Dacey (Curator, Contemporary Art Gallery), co-curated with Mike Love.
